The opening ceremony of Confidex Ltd’s new factory took place in Guangzhou, China on the 5^th February, 2010. The new facilities of 3000 m² were officially opened by CEO Timo Lindström, Chairman of the board Reijo Mäihäniemi, Finnish ambassador Lars Backström and Vice President of Operations, Bernard Lim.

The festivities consisted of mixed Finnish-Chinese traditions; the speeches, ribbon cutting ceremony and champagne were followed by an ancient and symbolic Lion Dance. This ancient tradition is widely used to bring good luck and cast away evil.

Confidex’s new factory has approximately 100 employees and is managed by Mr. Lim.
